High Street and Online Letting Agents

Traditionally letting agents are based on the high street, they offer a comprehensive service but charge a comprehensive price. High street agents have large overheads and pass these costs on to the landlords and tenants. Then came along a wave of internet based letting agents who offer attractive low fees but fail to provide the services which the landlords and tenants require. Online agents are call centre based and do not provide essential services such as accompanied viewings.

Bridging the Gap

Click That Property began with the aim to 'Bridge the Gap' by offering high street services at internet prices. How do we do this...? We have implemented a range of cost saving methods of which the main one is the removal of the unnecessary high street shop. We work from a local serviced office based in Britannia House Leagrave Road which is accessible to the public just like a high street shop. Research shows over 90% of enquiries for rental accommodation now comes via the internet. Unlike the online letting agents we still provide all the traditional services such as accompanied viewings.

Our Experience

At Click That Property we specialise in Lettings, our aim is to provide the very best service. How do we do this…? Our staff have many years of sales and underwriting experience which gives us the right tools to find the right tenants. Once we have found the right tenant we understand how to manage your property. Our team have worked for a national property management company who has contracts with several national local authorities and housing associations and manages several hundred thousand properties throughout the UK. So whether it's a leaking tap, a boiler breakdown or someone trapped in a lift we know how to deal with it.

Memberships to Professional Bodies

We understand as a letting agent our clients have given us great responsibility with what is in most cases their biggest financial investment. We don't take this lightly and aim to ensure that we are qualified in what we are doing and do everything to safeguard our landlords investment. Our staff have studied and passed the NFOPP Award in Residential Letting and Property Management. We have also joined various organisations and schemes to ensure we offer our clients the very best service at all times.

NFOPP - The National Federation of Property Professionals. Our award in Residential Letting and Property Management is not only a nationally recognised industry qualification but is also an entry requirement of ARLA.

ARLA - Association of Residential Letting Agents is the only professional self regulating body specialising in raising and maintaining practice standards in the UK private rental sector.

TPOS - The Property Ombudsman Scheme. Registered agents must follow the Letting Code of Practice. The Property Ombudsman considers disputes referred by landlords or tenants relating to lettings and management agents that are members of the Scheme.

DPS - Deposit Protection Service. All private landlords and letting agents taking deposits for assured shorthold tenancies (ASTs) in England and Wales are required to safeguard them with a government authorised tenancy deposit protection scheme.
